Identifying Spiders

Spiders have eight legs and two body sections: the cephalothorax and abdomen. Most spiders have either six or eight eyes, which can be arranged in various patterns. At the end of their jaw-like structures, there is a pair of hollow fangs used to eject venom. They also produce silk (used to make webs) at the tip of their abdomen.

There are several common forms of spiders. They are cobweb spiders, orb weaver spiders, funnel web spiders, cellar spiders, wolf spiders, jumping spiders, nursery web spiders, and crab spiders.
